This is excellent news. We really need Xbox One to catch up to the PS4 so we can have a real competition. Having one massive dominant player helps no one.

When was the last time you heard of a game being 100% out of stock? I can't ever remeber hearing that in the last 7-8 years.

I disagree. The people that need to about this and actually care about it, already know. The only part of this that would be of interest to the "bigger audience" you speak of is the harassment and threats, because sensationalism sell. The issues of collusion, corrupt reporting et al? If you don't care about it already, then its not something you will care about.

I disagree. Their are tons of people that enjoy COD for the campaign. I owned every COD since Modern Warfare and that was the only one that I did any multiplayer on. I've player every other COD for the campaign. Characters like Capt Price, Soap and Raikov don't become popular on the back of multiplayer.
Can't blame Sony for that. Still a cool feature though
I think we can thank games like this for the revival of real horror games.
